Mad With Power Joel (played by Kevin) goes mad with his moderate amount of power. Sick About Crime • Dave is a cop who's been around but still gets sick about crime, including expired parking metres. Laundromat Business Opportunities • Bruce and Mark talk about business opportunities at the laundromat -IE leasing dirty laundry. Cruisin for a Brusin 2 • Scott asked Kevin what’s up his craw, Kev says if he knew what a craw was, he'd tell you what was up it. Bath Party and Crawl • It is 1997. A war has decimated the planet. Is Kevin, smoking pot in a bathtub, humanity’s next great artist? Cruisin for a Brusin 3 • Scott still wonders what's wrong, why can't he get in a fight? Mark tries to get in a fight with him, but Shoveling Coal • Previn and Gregolt (Bruce and Mark) shovel coal in the darkness. In the silence. In the sadness. But Bruce can work in darkness no longer.

• Cops - The “did you kill that guy” series continues! It is somehow lazier than in the last episode! In the end they find out the guy they were interrogating didn’t do it. The end.

• High school diploma: The hookers are helping Rudy further his education
• Epithet 2: Racist cabbie is back, he uses the N word, it is….uncomfortable.
• Bad cheater: Dave is really bad at cheating, getting on the same plane for a vacation with her lover as her husband. In her defense, it’s a BIG PLANE!
• Scary sandwich: Dave has a recurring dream about getting up from a nightmare to make a sandwich, featuring the crunchiest and spookiest pickle
• Extreme argument: Christine and Raj don't sit at their regular table, and then the trouble begins

• Police Department Worms: can you get worms by arresting a guy? You cant! You just have worms otherwise.

• Police Department: hungover. Gotta go out because well, its Saturday night.
• Let the flirting begin: you gotta make an impression in 20 words or less. Then! You gotta act aloof and finally, chase the rabbit.
• No chocolate diet: its hard to quit. But besides, its not about what you eat. Yeah. Its about what you do. Yeah!

So we’ll be reviewing Episode 16 of Season 4 which allegedly aired in April, 1994. So let’s kick off with our sketch rundown….We’ve got:

• Shut-up, Judge: a courtroom confession
• Job sharing: the Kathies withstand company restructuring
• The Voices: screeching yodel of madness. Punk as a crust punk. The notion of being in a polite society is maddening to The Real Dudes.
• STEPS: Gays of various types. Kevin is a snarky intellectual gay (Schmitty). “Check out the Queers!” (guy in the background waves).
• Chad’s 13th birthday (AKA entering manhood by watching your dad get pathetically drunk)
• STEPS 2: Gotta go in drag to the warehouse party. Schmitty remains a pill. Dave is going as Sandy Duncan. “My nipples qualify as tits eh hurr hurr”.
• Tacky Art Collector: “and dogs cant even *play* pool” That’s art. Bruce’s fancy art hands are enlightening. Selling a black velvet painting for $8.
• STEPS 3: Gay Marriage. I-thssues makes people, *angry*.

Review: Kids in the Hall Episode 15 of Season 4 which aired on April 1, 1994. So let’s kick off with our sketch rundown….We’ve got:

• The New Guy: Bruce struggles to make friends by hitting on other peoples’ wives

• Undercover Preparation: Both of the cops would be awful undercover agents because they only have a high school education and 2 months of RCMP depot training
• Rollerblades: Dave recreates perfectly the experience of being alive in the 90’s
• Love and Sausages: The iconic and divisive sketch! Where Bruce’s amish man is torn between his love for the sausage package kissing girl and his dementia-riddled sausage loving father

• Not a Wrong Number - Dave never misdials, so what happened to Frank?
• Ain't Gonna Spread for No Roses - Tammy has a new video about old men
• Borrowing Art: Kevin borrows Bruce's art in order to impress his ex-girlfriend and her boyfriend.

Today we’ll be reviewing Kids in the Hall Episode 13 of Season 4 which aired on February 23, 1994. So let’s kick off with our sketch rundown….We’ve got:

• Police Department: sound my fridge makes
• Pizza (nice by the Slice): return of Canadia dirtbag couple (too small to love). Kevin is a really nice boy, he’s not having a good time with punks.
• Police Department: holding hands at the beach.
• Boardroom: internal monologue, Dave doesn't know what he’s talking about and wants the sweet relief of being accused of being a fraud.
• Hookers: got kevin as rudy the pimp, gets a radio shout out for his birthday.
• Mark in the monologue room: fan letters to the other case members. Mark’s fans think hes a weenie. The secret of nudity.
• Police department: a single picture from europe trip.
• Long hair Kevin in an office: hes tarzan. Pivots to dunking on CBS.
• Short film thing: somebody has taken Kitty. Scott as Detective Peter “Fingers” Prince. Mark as Baltimore, the butler with killer eyebrows. Carlos the sexy cabana boy. Dave as Kitty, the daughter (?).

• Good Worker: Bruce returns to the office from which he was fired because he’s now a Good Worker
• Plastic Surgery: The Prostitutes question whether they’d ever have any work done
• Understudy: Rod Torfulson’s Armada featuring Herman Menderchuck is discussing tossing out their leader! But they come to a compromise
• Commitment: One of the prostitutes considers getting a cactus Do Re Mi: A musical number featuring the whole troupe! Wherein they try to cheer up a kid with a lost dog by singing some Sound of Music
• Clotheslined: Dave writes a letter to the cyclist he clotheslined on the sidewalk, and is not sorry in the slightest
• It’s Too Easy: The prostitutes muse about how the job’s gotten too easy
• Smoking Your Son’s Pot: A dinner party turns into a pot smoking sesh and Mark’s wife gets very paranoid

Today we’re reviewing Kids in the HAll Episode 10 of Season 4 which aired February 2, 1994. So let’s kick off with our sketch rundown….We’ve got:

1. Incompetent Receptionist - Bruce is an incompetent receptionist who doesn’t write anything down, and works for Berman, Berman, and Sfrontzel.
2. Employee-Employer Exchange - Sir Simon Milligan and Hecubus switch jobs.
3. COPS! Oh BOY! - Three COPS shorts where they haze the new guy.
4. Psychic Delivery Service - Mark plays a psychic whose shtick is to take advantage of old ladies, making them, deliver packages.
5. Answering Machine - A couple fight over creating the perfect hilarious answering machine greeting, the answering machine being the foremost creative outlet of the 90s.
6. Celebrity Trauma - Scott talks about how troubles don’t exist until a celebrity talks about them publicly…. But he will not divulge his own private struggles.
7. Divorce Court - Mr. Tisane and Francesca Fiore appear in divorce court (for some reason there is a jury), because Francesca hits Mr. Tisane. Bruno Puntz Jones shows up later.

Today we’ll be reviewing Kids in the Hall Episode 8 of Season 4 which aired on December 23, 1993. So let’s kick off with our sketch rundown….We’ve got:

• Pretty Woman: Dave’s French-Canadian hooker Jocelyn accidentally says no when a man in a limousine offers her a life of luxury.
• Gavin Finds Religion: A couple of evangelists want to speak to Gavin about the Lord while he’s sweating to the oldies, and immediately regret it.
• Try it NOW! Danny Husk’s feeble attempts to start a car include kicking the hubcap, washing the windows and giving it a fresh lick of paint. Turns out you always have to check for stray toddlers in the engine!
• Dull since the heart attack: Mark and Bruce are middle aged men who just really enjoy a good restaurant and a hearty morning meal
• Sock puppet: The hookers help a nervous john ask for sex by directing his attention to their delightfully friendly sock puppet
• Similarities between the McDonalds and The Airports Series: Kevin draws weak similarities between his own family and the Airport Movie series
• My God they Can Read My Thoughts: Dave’s company is secretly planning a hostile takeover, but it turns out their executives can read his thoughts - hilarity ensues
• Thanksgiving: Oh jeez. Kevin plays the black sheep-middle aged brother, whose midlife crisis explodes into a semi nude tantrum at the start of his family’s thanksgiving dinner.

• Radio Fight - Kevin & Mark’s New Yorker characters are driving together… one is singing and it annoys the other.
• Big Bats - Kathie becomes a fan of the happy chirpy Blue Jays team… and their… big bats.
• Apartment Games 1, 2, 3 - Bruce & Mark are a couple of simpletons doing competitions... They toss beer bottles into their kitchen sink, bounce rubber balls in the sink, and then… blow up their apartment somehow?
• Door-to-Door axe Sharpener - Dave’s Axe Murderer character needs his blade sharpened during a murder, and chats with the old eastern european sharpening man.
• Progress in Food - Fran learns about salsa, peanut sauce, and meals in a pill (her son tries to pass off benzos as space man food).
• Forced Date - Two people are forcibly introduced to each other, and then all their couple friends start acting like they are in a relationship.
• Maria - Kevin keeps on dreaming about having an affair with his maid, and then accidentally asks her to marry him, then has a 3-way with her and her husband.

Today we’ll be reviewing Kids in the Hall, season 4 episode 5, which aired in 1993. So let’s kick off with our sketch rundown….We’ve got:

• Newscasters: in one of the weakest cold opens yet, some local newscasters make a joke that the weather person is not, in fact, God.
• Emergency Room Practical Jokers: Dave demonstrates that you can prank em, prank em all so hard but to be the ultimate jokerster you gotta be prepared to pay the ultimate price.
• Perks: Queer Content! Scott wrestles with the ethics of accepting the perks of fame, such as helping poor unnaturally beautiful men achieve their goal of fucking a celebrity. Wrestles greasily.
• Out Of Body Experience: Things can go sideways when there’s tension over the neck of the turkey. Featuring the Bruce mom from Potato Salad now with extra Marge Simpson energy.
• Sex Girl Patrol: the world is a dark unshroulded place and film is light. The Kids illuminate us with the panacea, and its straight from the Sex High Counsel.
• So Says You!: when things get tough, maybe the only solution is to go away for a while, hang around with some loose women, and maybe, god willing, return someday.

• Wrong Number: Dave, the governor calls the wrong number for the state prison, missing out the chance to save an innocent man for execution
• Spot Bellini Contest: what starts with two men drinking goose sweat, ends up in Bruce explaining how you can win a chance for breakfast at your local airport with Paul Bellini
• Hookers do phone sex on the street
• Two installments of The Fight Pickers: first they take on a biker and his goldfish, and later struggle to distinguish between two men in suits (the guy with the marketing degree from Dalhousie University, and the Woolworth’s manager from Nova Scotia who once scored six goals in a peewee hockey tournament)
• Pit of Ultimate Darkness: Multiple Personalities: Hecubus introduces us to his multiple personalities, most of which are practical joker New Yorkers with names that rhyme with Ed
• The Sandwich People : Bruce lays out the ascendant ranking of sad people
• Never put salt in your eye: Danny Husk now apparently works for the Ontario Dental Association, and Kevin keeps forgetting that you should never put salt in your eye.
• Bauer bangs your mom: Kyle is surprised to find Bauer making himself at home, having given his mom an oil massage. And Bellini appears from a pack of condoms

• The Alley Fight 1 - Some hosers are about to fight in an alley, and one of them asks for the other’s language to be toned down because his supportive parents are present.
• The Alley Fight 2 - The street fighting guys get confused about who is the good looking and real ugly guy and beat up the same guy.
• The Alley Fight 3 - “I take the guy in the t-shirt, you take the great flesh eating creature of Antwerp.”
• The New Girl - Cathy and Kathie are extremely jealous of a beautiful new coworker, eating chips and wings and receiving gifts from strangers. After fretting about aging, they spread a lie about the new girl being a lesbian.
• Daydreaming – Darrill always imagines an Oompah Band in the room with him when he daydreams. He finds it fascinating that other people don’t have this happen, then uses his new daydream powers to imagine other scenarios (being told he has a brain tumor, then seeing the oompah band in a different location)
• Virtual Reality - Buddy Cole has a new VR machine, and talks about all the possibilities virtual boning might make possible one day.
• The City Slickers – Two city boys are in nature fighting about eggs, they see a deer and then get attacked by a bear.
• The Life of Cyril St. John – A old-timey-style documentary about an escape artist who wasn’t able to get out of a strait jacket for most of his career (He ends up going to war in a strait jacket, gets a Leave it to Beaver style TV show where he’s still in the jacket, movies). He ends up getting institutionalized. It’s 8 minutes long!

Today we’ll be reviewing Episode 1 of Season 4 which aired in 1993! So let’s kick off with our sketch rundown….We’ve got: In memorium: Ted Riley, car rolls down a hill and explodes. RIP The Night I connected with my dog: Small Mammal with whom I live a lie, long monologue by Bruce. Taxi Hospital: Dave’s taxi driver ends up providing healthcare to medical skeptics Hookers Undercover: Truly is an undercover sketch as it is secretly a POLICE DEPARTMENT sketch. I actually liked it. Tucker’s Repair: MM’s repair guy is a little touched or something and doesn’t fix a car. I’m just gonna take this one on the chin and say it doesn’t hold up. I do like the singsong “all of this confusion”. Never a good sign when the scene just...ends and then people applaud. Almost like they had to see a sign to tell them to do so. Scott’s Distraction Hair: I love this one. The Scott reacts are great “ho-mo-fobic” and “eep”. Also Michael from Queer Planet is great. And the confiscation is likely a reference to Little Sister’s Bookstore in Vancouver which became a seminal legal case in Canada. Spider on the face: Dave’s husband has a night spider on his face. Doesn’t get the laugh I expected on “went to Nam on business” which is a gag used in Its Always Sunny In philadelphia way later. Also some of the prompts like the alarm clock like nobody reacted including the audience. I love the “Oh Darling” from Kevin, just nails it. Ends with a tender marital beej. Hooker Tourists: basic bitches get everywhere, theyre like mould on the west coast. Hooker Alien Trick: I will not fall for zat again noh. Love it. Office Bruce: Its a Brucio mini movie! Felt extremely Terry Gilliam to me.

• COPS: Old Lady Falls Down  -- And Old Lady (Scott) pepper sprays Kevin when he tries to help her up after falling, and the cops both agree they shouldn’t get involved.

• Sketch Artist  - Dave is a sketch artist who is able to draw people he’s never seen based only on the sound of their voice. The sketch is bad but as it turns out very accurate. Kevin is also dressed as a vegas showgirl “for a cheap laugh.”

• The Babysitter --- Gavin falls for his new babysitter, Natalie, who also loves long winded trivia stories. By this point in the 3rd season, Gavin’s mere appearance results in 15 unbroken seconds of wild applause from the audience.

• Mr. Heavyfoot Puts on his Pants --- Monsieur Piedlourde requires harnesses, lifts, and wires to get dressed.

• Buddy Cole in Paris  - Buddy cole! Falling in Love in Paris is such a cliche.

• Street singers - a couple of guys who sing in the street for money sing the same song again and again with different lyrics. (Cutting out our coupons, etc)

• Mr. Heavyfoot Hates the Movie  -- Monsieur Piedlourde gets up from a movie in disgust, but still leaves late.

• Macaroni and Cheese  - The Street singers are eating macaroni and cheese & get a lifetime supply of mac and cheese, catsup, and tapeworm food.

• My Pen!  - Bruce plays a bank teller who loses a pen he had loaned to Kevin.
• Celebrity Encounters - Dave and Kevin discuss and small "C" celebrities like the Osmands, and the time that Mickey Rooney entertained Dave.
• COPS: Withstanding Blatant Abuse - A man yells at the one cop, but the other doesn’t interfere because he thought they knew each other.
• Cabbie 2: Road Rage - Kevin gets another cabbie who shoots other cars, delivers a package, and picks up other fares.
• Strip Club  - Mark’s chicken lady and Kevin’s bearded lady attend a strip show with Rooster Boy.
• Cabbie 1: Blame for Blue Jays Loss  - Kevin gets a Cabbie played by Mark who blames "certain people"  for the Blue Jays losing. Back in Europe, certain people always made problems.
• Man Boobs: Dave and Scott are hanging out in a sauna, and Dave asks if he's always had breasts, or if they are new.
• Can Anyone Fly a Plane? An intro where flight attendants burst into restaurant to find out if anyone

So let’s kick off with our sketch rundown…We’ve got: 

• Charades  - a man is smothered to death in plain site while everyone loses their shit at charades

• Annoying Kid at the Butchers  - in which Gavin prices meat while his mom gets a makeover and learns how much his head would sell for if it were prime veal. 

• Police Department. The cops keeping hearing about sexism on the force, but are oblivious to the patriarchy

• WHO’S TO BLAME! The AT&Love Boss looks for someone to blame for the bad weather that ruined his company baseball game. 

• Police Department: Where Bruce learns that everyone thinks about cloud shapes and he’s not hallucinating

• Toaster. Scott and Bruce are two preppy boys that feign interest in an old woman’s souvenirs so that they can beat up her appliances.

• Faux-Pas - Kevin manages to offend a deaf person, a woman having an affair and his wife’s boss who was a former hostage all at the same party! How the hell was he supposed to know?!

• Police Department: Mark bemoans the fate of his ex partner ...who retired, got fat and bald and moved to Florida 

• "Great Sex" - Where Mark plays a string of messages on his answering machine from women and the bank confirming he is good at sex. 
• Tube Top of Justice: As she walked over the horizon, lawmakers quipped, and the teenage boys stared, for she was wearing...the tube top of justice. 

• Retelling a Complicated Foreign Film: A man in a bar tries to explain a complicated Francesca Fiore movie and we get lost in the plot

• Vegas: On a faraway planet, a son asks his father about the place they call Vegas. It’s soon revealed that father Mark was MC Johnny Go who was heckled out of the strip, and his son soon learns how easy it is to fall prey to stage fright. 

• Christ As Carpenter: Archaeologist Dave Foley reveals artifacts proving that Jesus was a pretty shitty carpenter, who made two-legged tables and chairs with no back support

• Police Department 2: Mark’s Daughter Wants To Be A Cop, Too but she’s probably a bit too young

• Bathroom Support Group: Where a group of men are trying to give up their addiction to urinating.

• A Spin-Off of "The Kids in the Hall”: Scott Thompson has his own show. He gives himself a hickey with a tube in the crafts section, he climbs Mt. Scott Thompson with himself, he is waited on by handsome men, he ponders what an alternative universe version of himself would be like (exactly the same). The that blowhard Dave shows up and is pushed off the stage.

• Amnesiac Restaurant Customer: Dave plays an old man at a restaurant once more. This time, he keeps thinking he is someone else.

• Domestic Whores: Scott and Bruce are domestic workers out on the street looking for work. 

• Cheesecake: The Kathys and their coworkers have a gal’s get together and talk about food

• Eating in the Shower: At the end of the show Kevin eats a drumstick and french fries in the shower. It’s weird.

• Freak Show: Bruce and Dave are two annoying children who catch nosebleeder Kevin on his lunch break at the county fair freak show and heap abuse on him until his nostrils just can’t hold back anymore
• A Seminar About Money: Mark and Dave are swindling con artists giving a money seminar to a group of senior citizens in Seattle...WOW, look at Gord eat money!
• Cops and Surf Cops: Scott is actor Tony Baldwin, the star of hit show Surf cops, who trolls the street for young men but has a watertight press release reminding everyone he’s not gay. 
• Liposuction: Kevin and Dave serenade Bruce and Scott on their honeymoon with a very accurate description of the process of liposuction.

• The Nasty Break-Up: Bruce and Mark play a couple who has just broken up and struggle to be adults about the whole situation.

• Buddy Cole In The Woods: Buddy spots a naked male nymph in the forest. He says “that’s not something you see every day. Well, I do.” The end.
• Bad Anecdote Guy: Wherein Scott plays some sort of psycho who doesn’t understand normal human interaction, and keeps saying “Good night… I’m joking!”

• Theo the Teacher: Dave plays a cool teacher who wants you to call him out on his bullshit whenever you see it, and is only a little addicted to heroin.

• The bill: Bruce is a disgruntled restaurant customers who asked for his bill 40 minutes ago, he doesn't want it now, he  wanted it an hour ago. AHH YOU’RE NOT LISTENING!

• Who’s gay in Hollywood: Mark and Scott play over-the-top celebrity gossipers Western Esterhazy and Virgil, deciding who is and isn’t gay behind the scenes in Hollywood. Spoiler - Pluto the dog isn’t gay because he’s just a cartoon

Ping Pong: Mark McKinney is an annoying spectator while the rest of the troupe plays rapid fire rounds of ping pong.

Pre-Vacation Family Blowout: Bruce McCulloch is an irate father anxious to get on the road to vacation, but his wife  - Scott Thompson - is worried about son Dave Foley not coming home and assumes he must have spent the night in a crack house. Hilarity ensues.

Chain Gang: An upmarket food critic is recognised by two characters from his past - when he was a criminal tied to a chain gang

Nobody Likes Us: Dave Foley and Kevin McDonald are a couple of downers, responding to a declined loan application by hanging themselves outside the bankers house, but fail to even do that properly. How depressing!

Buddy Cole is back: and this time he’s using dinosaur metaphors to paint of a picture of the characters overtaking the gay bars.

Interracial Couple: Where we’re again haunted by the Kid’s use of blackface - this time to aid a joke about how a Dave Foley’s character Susan is convinced her parents are racist against her black boyfriend Scott Thompson - but she’s just insane. They’re actually really lovely.

• Another slice of white bread slathered in a thick coating of Hans’s favorite mayonnaise, “30 Helens Agree” sketches! What do they agree on this week? Tattoos aren’t for everyone! And…. promptness is important! Actually, only 29 Helens agree on that part.
• “Apathetic Robbery” - In which no one really cares that they are robbing, or being robbed.
• Running Faggot - ABOUT A TRUE HERO! A song about a David-crocket type hero who solves problems and evades rednecks in the American west
• How Businessmen Relax - Spoiler: it’s whippings
• Truck Owner - It’s about a guy who owns a bunch of trucks.
• Stray Businessman - Can I keep him? Bruce finds a stray businessman and wants to keep him around the house, but taking care of a businessman is a big responsibility.

Welcome to KITH and Tell: a reminder of just how much of our fucked up humour can be blamed on Kids in the Hall.

In this episode the sketches are:

• Indian drum: a ridiculous rhyming short where a dull-witted Mark McKinney bemoans the loss of his drum - stolen by a frustrated Kevin McDonald.
• That’s followed by the return of Mark McKinney’s headcrusher, who this time is taking aim at partiers trying to get into a club
• Date negotiators: Bruce McCullough and Mark are Gerald and Gerald, two lawyers trying to reach a compromise for two dating clients with differing opinions on the duration and order of dinner, dancing and guaranteed sexual intercourse on date six
• We’ve then got some juvenile humour from a skit about Grampa’s Poo, where a family celebrates Bruce’s character for having his first bowel movement in four years - only for it to be lost to the beloved dog.
• Vacation: Where Scott Thompson’s naked body is described as a playground for families to enjoy a holiday, including the pool at the bottom of his back and the dark caverns of his nostrils...though it gets saucy when we get to the nipples
• And the question we’ve all been asking: Are extraterrestrials dull? Dave Foley leads a spoof about alien abductions, where we learn about their boring TV habits, and preferences for alpaca wool blend cardigans.
• Bruce then has a daydream, wondering about what it would be like if Elvis were his Landlord.
• That’s all capped off with the headcrusher taking a break from his hobby to gallantly help a puking flathead home.

• Sick of the Swiss: Some straightforward but wonderfully surreal fare.
• The Country Doctor: A really long narrative driven sketch where Dave Foley actually anchors the scene.

• Children of the Farmbelt, inspired by the impact of technology on their lives, salute the tractor.
• Bruce McCollough is the cause of cancer, called out by Dave Foley.
• A surreal and reoccuring/dream within a dream that Scott Thompson has about a pear.
• The ‘Eradicator,’ where McCollough is a masked, over the top squash player.
• McKinney as ahem.. a blues guy in black face (Mississippi Gary)...who is heart broken over McCollough’s Kathy with a K.
• And McKinney bookends it by head crushing a kid who wants to be a businessman.
