Sorry guys, the union sold you out. This week we celebrate finishing the second season, and collect our dues. We reflect on our favorite sketches of the season.

So let’s kick off with our sketch rundown…. We’ve got: 

• Plot to Kill Cabbage Head: Returning eco-feminist warriors Shona, Axel, and Ozone decide Cabbage Head must die.

• The Chain Letter: Businessmen discuss a disturbing piece of mail which could bring them great fortune or ruin them.

• Plungers: Where Bobby’s father recounts the tale a glorious plunger salesman

• Cabbage Head Is Murdered: Shona, Axel, and Ozone kill Cabbage Head.

• It’s a fact girl: Bragging Aliens  -- One that I’m sure Stu has something to say about

• Grocery Store Line-Up: In which Kevin freaks out in a grocery line. Mark’s Melanie falls in love with the impatient Kevin.

• Spoon-head Party: Weston Esterhazy's Hollywood spoon-head movie "Liza's Party."
• Cabbage Head is Born-Again: - Cabbage Head talks about his religious conversion on a talk show.

• He’s Gonna Give Away $1000 Dollars: A rousing song from Mark about how Scott’s gonna give away a stack of greenbacks and a knuckle sandwich
• Ticketing Car: Where one of the Cops is forced to give himself a ticket
• Decorator Demon: In which Kevin mulls over whether he wants his living room to be a space for passively watching TV or doing battle with the dark forces
• The Head Crusher Duels the Face Squisher: A challenger appears for some prime head crushing turf!
• The Shortest Tubes in New York: Where Bruce and Kevin talk about how small their dongs are
• The Touch Paul Bellini Contest Winner! Paul Bellini flies to St. Petersburg Florida to meet Rebecca Klatka and be touched by her with a small stick
• Visiting Grave of Ticket Recipient: Another Cops sketch that probably should have died on the cutting room floor
• The Governor and the Hooker: Where a Governor can’t get his groove back until the kindly hooker tells him a personal tale of woe
• Good Fucking Ham! One of the iconic Kids sketches where Bobby goes on the run after challenging his old man over the quality of his mom’s ham steak. 
• Decorator Demon 2: An outro sketch where we see the dynamic of the relationship between Paul and his demon play out

This episode includes: 

• Police Department: Where Bruce admits he just really wants a bubble back - because sometimes in the middle of a hostage taking you have to think about your OWN needs.

• Kevin Sleeping: Where Kevin admits he’s the least favourite Kid but tries to wow us with how good he looks in front of a fridge light while sucking on a pickle

• Exposing The Affair: Sister in law Scott Thompson forces wife Dave Foley to confront her husband Mark about a well known affair with his mistress. Her attempt to attack his deflection results in Hildegard admitting he had his own chance with her on prom night. Not a great sketch but did anyone catch that these are Bobby’s parents?

• Stand in the New Style: A very 90’s rap music video about people standing in weird positions and talking like...pirates?

• Vegas: On a faraway planet, a son asks his father about the place they call Vegas. It’s soon revealed that father Mark was MC Johnny Go who was heckled out of the strip, and his son soon learns how easy it is to fall prey to stage fright. 

• Christ As Carpenter: Archaeologist Dave Foley reveals artifacts proving that Jesus was a pretty shitty carpenter, who made two-legged tables and chairs with no back support

• Police Department 2: Mark’s Daughter Wants To Be A Cop, Too but she’s probably a bit too young

• Bathroom Support Group: Where a group of men are trying to give up their addiction to urinating.

Let’s kick things off with our sketch rundown….We’ve got: 

• Lady is a Tramp: Oblivious Old Timey Dave romances a prostitute, featuring Scott in a rare sexy (?) drag character. 

• Meet the Geralds: Bruce’s Gerald has lost his touch, Mark’s Gerald has an apprentice Dave

• I'm English: Scott does a modified Manny Koon monologue about how people gotta learn to speak English.

• Lady is a Tramp Part II: the romancing continues.

• Painting A Chair: First appearance of Bruce’s Gavin! Those guys sure smoked!

• The Lack O Trust Blues: Kevin does an Elvis-ish manwhore musical number; Bruce plays Tex’s long suffering wife, who seems a lot like a Kathy Variation. The reason your relationship is faltering is because you don’t trust me enough, baby! Makin’ me wear my wedding ring.

• Lady is A Tramp Part III: No, Grandpa’s not crying. Even the greatest romance experience the fading of passion. Featuring an amazing Kevin bit as the geriatric pimp.

Welcome to KITH and Tell, or, “an Ode to Nostalgia, the Sweetest Nectar of all”.

Today we're reviewing the fourth episode of the first season, which originally ran on November 14th, 1989! This episode includes the following sketches:

• Deja Vu: A quick cold open gag (where a man in a back alley brawl has a bout of deja vu)
• Apollo the Rude: A social aberrant sketch: generally well mannered Kevin McDonald has had enough! Everybody blames him for standing up for himself.
• The Daves I Know: Bruce McCulloch at his best.
• A Good Attitude Towards Menstruation: Dave Foley is above the whole “skit” thing...again.
• Let Me In!: A weak-ass improv warm up exercise that somehow made it into the show.
• Timmy: A young son consoles his parents regarding a home relocation. Kinda cute.
• Sick of the Swiss: Some straightforward but wonderfully surreal fare.
• The Country Doctor: A really long narrative driven sketch where Dave Foley actually anchors the scene.

Welcome to KITH and TELL, or, “what happens when a bunch of millennials set out to rank every episode of the Kids in the Hall, but get easily distracted”.

Today we're reviewing the third episode of the first season, which originally ran on November 7, 1989! This episode includes the following sketches:

• Dave Foley as a down-on-his-luck gunslinger selling caramel corn
• A slapstick bit with Scott and Dave as electrical workers that turns into a twisted PSA about gorilla murder from Kevin
• A recurring bit about some hooligans who follow a mild-mannered businessman to his grave (and learn something about themselves along the way)
• Citizen Kane! In which Dave and Kevin argue over the name of the classic movie
• A bit of Noire narration from Mark about a modern day hero
• A ham so salty it results in a household pork ban
